Just so you know, there are several sites out there with some awesome, free blogger templates. And, if you click on the design button at the top right (I believe) of the blog navigation bar, you can add some new blogger templates and tweak the colors, ect.
I will warn you: once you start changing your blog layout, you'll get addicted :)
